  • Sneha Anne Philip: The Woman Who Vanished Before September 11
    Oct 5 2026

Sneha Anne Philip was a thirty-one-year-old physician, wife, daughter, sister, and creative person with interests in writing, painting, and music when her documented trail ended in Lower Manhattan on September 10, 2001. That evening, surveillance and purchase records placed her at the Century 21 department store. By the following morning, the September 11 attacks had transformed New York City and complicated every effort to learn where she had gone.

Sneha was later legally recognized as having died in the September 11 disaster, and her name appears on the National September 11 Memorial. Yet no public evidence securely accounts for the hours following her shopping trip. A disputed residential-lobby image, an unexplained early-morning telephone connection, and differing recollections became central to the investigation and later legal dispute.

This episode follows Sneha’s documented life, her final known communications, the search undertaken by her family and husband, and the court ruling that changed her legal date of death. It separates recorded evidence from later memories and interpretations while examining the central unanswered question: where did Sneha go after Century 21, and could evidence from that interval explain how her disappearance became connected to September 11?

  • Kyron Horman: The Boy Who Disappeared From His Own School
    Sep 28 2026

Kyron Richard Horman was seven years old when he disappeared from Skyline Elementary School in Portland, Oregon, on June 4, 2010. That morning, Kyron attended a school science fair and stood beside a display about the red-eyed tree frog. A photograph from the event remains one of the clearest documented records of his presence that day.

Kyron was expected to return home on the school bus at 3:30 that afternoon, but he was not aboard. A Skyline Elementary employee called 911 at 3:56 p.m. Officers and deputies arrived at the school and the family home at 4:33 p.m., followed by a major search involving local agencies, volunteers, and the Federal Bureau of Investigation.

The public record establishes several key points, but not the route between them. Kyron attended the fair. His stepmother, Terri Horman, reported seeing him walk toward his classroom at about 8:45 that morning. He did not return on the afternoon bus. What occurred between those events has not been publicly resolved.

The investigation later shifted from intensive search-and-rescue work toward a criminal investigation, but no one has been charged in Kyron’s disappearance. Family allegations, investigative leads involving a white pickup, and public speculation have never produced a public finding explaining where Kyron went.

As of September 2026, the Multnomah County Sheriff’s Office still lists Kyron as missing. Investigators have digitized thousands of records, continued reviewing evidence with newer technology, and said the case remains active.

  • Michael Dunahee: The Boy Who Vanished From a Crowded Playground
    Sep 20 2026

On March 24, 1991, four-year-old Michael Wayne Dunahee disappeared from the grounds of Blanshard Elementary School in Victoria, British Columbia. Michael had arrived with his parents, Crystal and Bruce Dunahee, while Crystal attended a women’s flag-football practice on an adjoining field. Michael asked to use the nearby playground. Crystal told him to wait there for his father. When Bruce arrived minutes later, Michael was gone.

The disappearance prompted an immediate search by family members, people at the field, police, and volunteers. Investigators later pursued reported sightings, possible vehicles, suspected routes, and thousands of tips. A brown or tan van became an important investigative lead, but no public evidence has established that Michael entered it or that its driver was involved. Several men suggested as possible adult versions of Michael were excluded through DNA testing. Other attention-grabbing leads, including a poster found in a Wisconsin home and a shirt found underwater decades later, did not establish a connection to Michael.

More than three decades later, Michael remains officially missing. No one has been publicly charged in connection with his disappearance, no remains have been recovered, and no publicly disclosed physical evidence explains how he left the school grounds. This episode examines the brief interval between Michael’s walk toward the playground and his father’s arrival, the evidence investigators have pursued, and the questions that remain.
