Yep, I said it and I’ll keep saying it: Fear is not bad.

Sometimes, fear shows us our old patterns that need healing – so that we’re able to stay in a healthy system.

And sometimes, fear shows us when it’s time to walk away from a toxic system.

Walking away from an old paradigm, when it’s all we’ve known, is especially scary.

But in both cases: Our problem isn’t fear.

Our problem is not knowing what to do with our fear.

Fear protects us, when necessary. It also puts us on the path to courage.

If we don’t listen to our fear, we can’t develop the courage to stay when it’s hard – or the courage to walk away when it’s oppressive.

We all need this kind of courage for what’s ahead.
