The manosphere: promoting violence and the suppression of women. Why? We are told that men are in crisis, and they are, but is it right to blame the empowerment of women for their alienation and despair? Would it be wiser to look to the economic system, wealth inequality, and a lack of hope for a better life for us all? Shouldn’t we be challenging the mistaken adherence to traditional gender roles, starting with the belief that men SHOULD be dominant and that guys are losers if they’re not? Shouldn’t we expose the denial that our world is still dominated by male power and images of it? Building the World We Want applauds men of all ages who are fighting their despair and conditioning.
