What happens when you stop trying to have everything figured out and start saying yes to opportunities that help you grow?
In this episode of The Follow Through, Avery sits down with Chloe Fogle, a fourth-year San Diego State University student majoring in Child and Family Development with a minor in Interdisciplinary Studies. Chloe is deeply involved across campus, including leadership roles within the Honors College, Dance Marathon, Women in Medicine, and Pi Beta Phi.
Chloe shares how getting involved outside the classroom helped shape her college experience, change the direction of her career, and teach her to become more comfortable with rejection, uncertainty, and being a beginner. She also talks about learning when to say no, finding accountability through strong teams, and why trying something, even when you are unsure where it will lead, can completely change your path.
From raising money for Rady Children’s Hospital to helping younger students find their place at SDSU, Chloe’s story is a reminder that you don’t need to have your future perfectly mapped out, you just have to be willing to take the next step.
