The podcast which you are about to see and hear is an account of the birth of a legend which befell the public at large in 1974. It is all the more epic that the tale takes place in the Lone Star State. But, should we all live very, very long lives, we can only hope - nay wish - to see as much of the mad and macabre as we have all seen over the past 52 years. For us, an idyllic trip to the cinema becomes a nightmare. The events of those films were to lead to the discovery of one of the most bizarre slashers in the annals of American history, his name is Leatherface and his legacy is The Texas Chain Saw Massacre.

“One, two Freddy’s coming for you…three, four better lock your door…five, six grab your crucifix…seven, eight better stay up late…nine, ten never sleep again…” If you’re a child of the 80s like us you were likely exposed to the terror of this tune as a kid. By the 90s Freddy Krueger was the goofy murder man, but not without a return to form with later renditions. Missteps aside the first remains an absolute horror classic that to this day can chill you and startle the casual viewer! Robert Englund, Heather Langenkamp, and Wes Craven gave us a slasher horror icon for the ages that continues to tickle and terrorize with his razor pointed glove some 40 years later! What are your memories with Freddy???

“No evil shall escape my sight. Let those who worship evils might beware my power Green Lanterns Light!” LANTERNS has finished its first season and it would seem for the most part that people are positively buzzing! We’ve got Hal Jordan, John Stewart, Sinestro, Guy Gardner and some manhunters! What did you think of how season one ended? Did you get what you wanted from it? Did you feel left a little flat? Let us know in the comment!!
