• Classic Insuphishient VOL 1
    Feb 13 2026

We go back now. February 9, 2022. A colder world. Smaller microphones. Bigger confidence. This was peak early middle era Insuphishient. Structure? Technically yes. Discipline? Absolutely not.

On this historic evening Matt unveiled what he claimed was a “foolproof” method for predicting summer tour cities using nothing but venue capacity charts and emotional intuition. Nick countered with a 17 minute monologue explaining why every jam in 1998 secretly foreshadowed the modern era. Neither point was proven. Both were defended aggressively.

This was also the episode where Poster Nutbag made an unsanctioned appearance, a bracket was introduced and immediately abandoned, and Matt tried to argue that a random midweek set two opener was “top five all time if you remove context.” Nick nearly walked off. He did not.

Looking back, 2/9/22 feels like a hinge moment. The games were tighter. The takes were hotter. The confidence was unmatched. It was chaotic but pointed. Silly but sharp. The kind of episode that made you feel like you were in on something.

    Dust it off. Revisit it.
    Classic Insuphishient.

  • Summer Tours Elastic
    Feb 11 2026

As Phish is on the clock to announce summer tour, Matt and Nick are here to help you keep your Sanity, even if it never came your way.

It’s that time of year where the rumors start swirling, the refresh button gets worn down, and every cryptic social media post feels like a clue. The passage of time? We are feeling it. Hard.

Today on Insuphishient, Nick finally gives it to Matt. Calm down. It’s the triumphant return of Real Show / Fake Show. Pride. Ego. Historical accuracy hanging by a thread.

Then we dig into a fan survey on the “State of Phish.” The numbers are in. The takes are spicy. Nick is not impressed.

Hey, if you listen to us, thank you. Much respect. We love Phish and We love the people who love Phish. PHISH!

Try and have a great day. BUT remember, if they don’t announce SUMMER tour this week…

    NO TOUR FOR YOU.

  • At least Trey Is Happy: VOL 3
    Feb 9 2026

Matt and Nick did something this week that should probably be illegal. They correctly predicted the Super Bowl outcome. The exact score. Not vibes. Not close. Dead on. Like for real for real. Unclear how. Unclear why. Deeply unsettling how accurate they were.

Meanwhile, somehow just as shocking, there are still no summer tour dates. It’s 2/9. We are adults. We have jobs. We have calendars. We have people to coordinate with. And yet here we are, completely in the dark.

So the protest continues. If the future won’t reveal itself, Matt and Nick are heading backward. Way backward. Summer tour openers from another era. It’s feeling very 1996 in here and honestly that might be the safest place to be right now.

    Tune in. Strap up.
    Let’s ride.

  • (The right audio this time..) Oh where (oh ware) could my Summer Tour be...?
    Feb 6 2026

Let try this again shall we... (Nick says sorry)

Not for nothing, but it’s the sixth of February and none of us have any idea if Phish is coming anywhere near us this summer. No dates. No cities. No poorly cropped poster to analyze. Just vibes and calendar anxiety.

So Matt and Nick are not taking this lying down. Well, technically they are sitting down, but they are digging in anyway. Today’s focus is summer tour openers. The good ones. The weird ones. The ones that quietly tell you exactly what kind of tour you’re about to get if you know how to listen.

Also, the Jazz Mandolin Project played Boston last night and that deserves its own space. We will absolutely talk about that on Monday.

Until then, stay warm. Stay patient.

  • The fourth of never...
    Feb 4 2026

Is it odd that we still don’t know when or where Phish is playing this summer? Maybe. But this is that perfect stretch of the new year where anything feels possible and the summer tour announcement could drop at any second.

Will they play near you? Will they play near me? Will they ever play sanity again? Hard to say. Only time will tell. Or Trey. If we could just get him to return our calls.

So today on Insuphishient we start a brand new game. When will it end? Spoiler alert. You already have all the clues.

  • Mexico; No Mas
    Feb 2 2026

Hate it or love it, everything eventually comes to an end. And as Phish played one song, they jammed another. As any good detective knows, the jam never lies. That was the final hurrah.

Matt says he would never go. Nick says he would gladly be your plus one. Trey supposedly said, “Whatever you do, take care of your shoes.” Who knows if any of that is true. Truth is slippery down there.

Either way, Mexico 2026 is officially in the books. The bags are unpacked. The wristbands are coming off. And now there’s a long, long stretch of calendar standing between you and Sphere. Thank the gods of rock you’ve got Nick and Matt to help fill the gap, keep the feeling alive, and say the quiet parts out loud.

    Let’s rock.

  • Mix'in in Mexico
    Jan 30 2026

Phish has the first two shows of 2026 in the books and right out of the gate things are already bending. Each night brought a debut. One night slipped in a little bust out just to keep everyone honest.

The waves are there. You can feel them and hear them. They’re showing up in the playing, in the pacing, the lyrics, the Song titles, in the way things are connecting across nights. The turtle in the clouds, on the other hand, is nowhere to be found. Make of that what you will.

Matt and Nick take the only approach that makes sense. Pick a song from night one or night 2 in each spot it was played. Mix and Match in Mex....

So the question is already on the table. Is this the best Mexico run Phish has ever had. Tune in and then you tell us.

  • The Phish will Come out, Tomorrow
    Jan 28 2026

Matt and Nick are in Mexico, sitting on a beach, recording a podcast about Phish being in Mexico. Which means this episode is happening inside itself. No filter. No distance. Just sand, sun, and two guys trying to describe a place while actively living in it.

There’s a James Taylor calm to the whole thing. That “nobody’s in a rush, everybody knows why they’re here” feeling. The days blur together. The nights stretch out. The ocean keeps time better than any watch. Phish is nearby doing Phish things, and Insuphishient is doing exactly what it’s always done. Talking it through. Letting it breathe. Not trying to control it.

This one isn’t about analysis or hot takes. It’s about location, headspace, and that strange comfort that shows up when the music and the setting line up just right. A podcast as a postcard. From Mexico. About Mexico. While you’re somewhere else wishing you were here.
