Why do we have an extra week in between the NFL Conference Championship games and the Super Bowl? And we don't wanna hear a damn thing about the Pro Bowl. It seems inevitable that we're gonna end up with an 18th game... and international games for everyone. Yay. Tracy Morgan refuses to give money to a homeless dude that he went to school with, but he had a pretty damn good reason not to. Adam questions the guy's salesmanship and proposes better ways to make money on the street. We offer up some Unsolicited Advice to a woman whose friend is gaslighting her husband in the most ridiculous way possible, a woman whose wedding plans are being imploded by her soon-to-be sister-in-law, and a guy whose ex-mother-in-law wishes he'd have stayed with her daughter. Patrick Kane sets a record, and we have some potential trade targets for the Red Wings! Adam subjects Sean to a list, and we get sidetracked talking about Bill Belichick's Hall of Fame induction, or lack thereof. Plus a couple bonus bits

Well, at least one of the NFL games this weekend was an actual game... and we have our Super Bowl matchup! We also have a debate over whether Matt Stafford deserves to have his number retired by the Lions. You can probably guess where Sean comes down on that one. The Lions make another addition to the coaching staff, and Sean is convinced it means there might be some real moves on the player side this offseason. The Wings keep winning, and we go over more trade targets!

It may be ridiculously cold today, but at least we're not getting the Deathstorm everybody else is, and Sean may be getting a little bit of enjoyment out of the rest of the co9untry's suffering. We get a little insight on just what the Tigers are asking for Tarik Skubal, and... yeah, there's no way he gets traded. Amon-Ra St. Brown calls out fans for their reaction to the Drew Petzing hire. With Adam out for the day, Sean calls in a ringer for Unsolicited Advice: his wife! Sean and Rachel offer advice to a woman who's ready to leave her significant other over his night terrors, a guy who's stressing about his wife cooking enough food to feed a small army, a party host whose sister is now vegan and didn't bother to tell anyone, and a woman whose mother-in-law thinks she's the family food critic. And as always. we close out with the picks!

We're all kind of over this winter weather. The Red Wings stay at the top of the Eastern Conference! Will they make a move at the deadline? Sean is not convinced. The Lions hire a new OC! Not the hire a lot of people were hoping for, but Sean isn't upset with it. We recap the weekend in NFL action; did Josh Allen blow his best chance at a Super Bowl? The Flint Firebirds do one of those ridiculous minor league theme nights, which leads to Sean taking shots at a certain bit of Flint cuisine...

The Tigers are looking for starting pitching help... but only if Tarik Skubal doesn't get his asking price in arbitration. More proof that the Tigers are not a serious baseball organization. At least the Red Wings aren't disappointing us? The weekend in NFL action was great... too bad the media coverage was not up to the task. How does Tony Romo still have a job? A reporter at the Jaguars' press conference decides to console Liam Coen instead of actually asking a question. Creepy dudes are afraid to approach women now, apparently. Good?

The Tigers and Tarik Skubal can't even agree on a price for next season. What hope do you have to re-sign him after that? The Tigers aren't serious about signing him, or trading him, or even building to win with him in 2026, so what are we doing? Why is it that all the GM's in this town are afraid to make a move? At least the Lions are trying to make a bold move for a new offensive coordinator. One guy's alleged infidelity has become the Ottawa Senators' problem. We offer Unsolicited Advice to a woman who tried to contact an ex and got stood up, and another one whose boyfriend wants to buy a house before putting a ring on it. And we finish the week as always with The Picks!

We're still recovering from our respective New Year's festivities. Sean and Adam are one comment away from being the subject of an upcoming Thumbing Through The Archives. Lapeer Main Street director Jim Alt drops by to tell us what's going on in downtown Lapeer. The Red Wings are still at the top of the Eastern Conference! We offer some Unsolicited Advice to a woman that hates her mother-in-law's cooking, and a "nice guy" that shows us all how nice he isn't. Have we ever mentioned how much we hate "nice guys?" Florida's now got an animal abuser registry. We're down with this idea, and have some suggestions of our own. And we close out the week with The Picks!
