Following the tragic passing of Chadwick Boseman, director Ryan Coogler faced an almost impossible task: continue the story of Wakanda without the actor who brought King T'Challa to life. The result is one of the most emotional and ambitious entries in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, a film that balances grief, legacy, political conflict, and superhero spectacle. Starring Letitia Wright, Angela Bassett, Lupita Nyong'o, Danai Gurira, Winston Duke, and Tenoch Huerta Mejía, BLACK PANTHER: WAKANDA FOREVER introduces the underwater kingdom of Talokan and its powerful ruler, Namor, while exploring how Wakanda moves forward after the loss of its king. Part outrageous period drama, part erotic exploitation, and part completely unhinged cinematic fever dream, SEX AND THE EMPEROR is the kind of movie that makes you question the creative decisions behind practically every scene. Just when you think you've figured out what kind of film you're watching, it finds another way to surprise you. And believe me, not all of those surprises are good!
