• The Real Problem Might Not Be Food Noise, It Might Be Body Noise
    May 20 2026

You lose the weight… but the thoughts about your body stay the same.

That’s the conversation we need to have more openly.

In this episode, I’m talking about what I call “body noise,” the constant mental and emotional chatter around how you look, how your clothes fit, how you feel in your body, and the way you see yourself in the mirror. Because for a lot of people using GLP-1 medications, quieting food noise is only one part of the process.

What happens when the weight starts coming off, but you still don’t feel comfortable in your own skin?

I break down the connection between food noise, body image, emotional eating, self-perception, and why so much of the fitness and weight loss industry continues to market directly to our insecurities. I also share why I believe sustainable weight management has to include an inside/out approach, not just external transformation.

This episode is for anyone realizing that weight loss alone doesn’t automatically create self-acceptance.

  • The First Step to Fixing Your Body Image
    May 13 2026

If you don’t like what you see in the mirror, you can change that.

But not in the way you’ve probably been told.

In this episode, I’m breaking down one of the most important, and often overlooked, steps in improving your body image during your weight loss journey, awareness.

Not surface-level awareness where you just say, “I don’t like what I see.”

    I’m talking about going deeper.

Learning how to observe your thoughts instead of immediately reacting to them. Asking yourself real questions like, what am I actually feeling right now, and why?

Because most of us don’t stop there.

We jump straight into criticism. We pick ourselves apart. And we reinforce the same beliefs that we’ve been carrying for years.

This episode is about interrupting that pattern.

We talk about how your body image has been shaped over time, not just by your own thoughts, but by years of messaging from industries designed to make you feel like you’re not enough.

And we’re not doing that anymore.

Instead, we’re shifting into building a new identity, one where you choose how you see yourself first, and then reinforce that through practice.

    Because that’s what this is.

    Practice.

You’re not trying to become perfect. You’re learning how to move between your emotions and logic in a way that actually supports you instead of working against you.

And when you start to appreciate who you see in the mirror, everything else, your habits, your consistency, your lifestyle, becomes easier to build and sustain.

  • The Body Image Side of GLP-1 Weight Loss Nobody Talks About
    May 8 2026

What happens after the weight comes off?

In this episode, I’m sharing a conversation originally recorded for the Life During and After GLP-1 Podcast that dives deep into the mental and emotional side of major weight loss, body image, and identity shifts after using a GLP-1 medication.

Brian shares his experience navigating obesity, serious health complications, rapid weight loss, and the complicated reality of mentally adjusting to a changing body after years of carrying a certain self-image.

    This conversation explores:

    • GLP-1 medications and long-term health improvement

    • The emotional side of rapid weight loss

    • Body image struggles after obesity

    • Why your mind can lag behind physical transformation

    • Men’s mental health and self-esteem

    • The impact of diet culture and unrealistic body expectations

    • Goal weight versus overall health and longevity

    • Learning to focus on strength, capability, and quality of life

One of the biggest takeaways from this conversation is that weight loss does not automatically create confidence or heal self-image overnight. There is often a deeper emotional process of reconnecting with yourself, redefining health, and learning how to move forward without tying your worth entirely to the scale.

This was a really thoughtful discussion about health, identity, self-perception, and what life can look like after major transformation.

  • Why Your Mind Hasn’t Caught Up to Your Weight Loss Yet
    May 6 2026

Losing weight with GLP-1 can change your body quickly.

But what happens when your mind doesn’t catch up?

In this episode, I’m breaking down one of the most overlooked parts of the weight loss process, your body image, and how you see yourself while everything is changing.

Because even when the results are showing up faster than ever, that doesn’t automatically mean you feel different when you look in the mirror.

    And that can be confusing.

    Part of you is excited.

    Part of you is uncomfortable.

And part of you still feels like the same person.

    That’s normal.

What we talk about here is how to actually work through that.

Not by trying to erase your old thoughts and feelings, but by learning how to build a new relationship with yourself alongside them. This is an emotional process, not just a physical one, and if you ignore that, you end up stuck in a constant mental tug of war.

I walk you through a simple but powerful starting point, using the mirror to begin shifting how you see yourself, and why it’s so important to include both physical and non-physical traits in that process.

We also talk about the reality that you’ve been conditioned for years, sometimes your entire life, to see yourself a certain way. So of course this doesn’t change overnight.

    But it can change.

And it starts with being intentional about how you see yourself moving forward.

Because when you begin to genuinely appreciate who you see in the mirror, everything else, your habits, your consistency, your lifestyle, starts to fall into place in a way that actually lasts.

  • The GLP-1 Identity Gap, When Your Body Changes Faster Than Your Mind
    Apr 29 2026

If you’re using GLP-1 medications and starting to see results, this episode is for you.

Because there’s something that doesn’t get talked about enough…

Just because your body is changing doesn’t mean your mind automatically follows.

In this first episode, I break down what I call the identity gap, the space between the physical results you’re seeing and how you actually view yourself in the mirror.

This is something that has always existed in weight loss, but with GLP-1s accelerating physical results, that gap can feel even wider and more noticeable.

    We’re diving into:

Why your brain takes time to catch up to your body

How years of dieting and self-perception shape what you see in the mirror

The role of fitness industry messaging and how it’s conditioned you to tie confidence to appearance

Why appreciating your progress now is just as important as continuing to pursue results

How to begin shifting your mindset so you can like who and what you see at every stage

We also touch on something most people aren’t thinking about yet…

What happens when “food noise” changes or disappears, and how that impacts your identity, habits, and emotional relationship with food.

This episode sets the foundation for everything we’re going to explore moving forward, from body image and identity to habits, emotions, and long-term sustainability.

    The goal is simple…

Not just to help you lose weight, but to help you build a version of yourself that you actually appreciate along the way.
