Sweet Loretta is on her way to do a show, but Hazzard County has other plans. Boss and Rosco reroute her tour bus past the Boars Nest where she is promptly kidnapped by the Pine Valley Rockers. They spend most of the episode parked in a barn, while Bo and Luke slowly drive around, and the local fuzz doesn’t really leave the Boars Nest. Not much urgency in this one, but everyone seemed to have a lovely day in Hazzard. Loretta even decided to skip her concert to go back to the Boars Nest at the end. Take a load off, everyone. It’s time to find the coal miner’s daughter!

Two new cops in town!? Sheriff Grady Bird joins the cast, but the big news is that Daisy becomes a deputy. Grady catches some bank robbers and they escape on Daisy’s watch. Everyone joins the chase until it ends with a plane crash. There was some questionable behavior and decision making in this episode, and that’s saying something for Hazzard county. I don’t want to lead you towards any conclusions, so listen for yourself as the Fun Boys have a harmless chat about Officer Daisy Duke!
