The story behind the show. My name is Guillermo — but growing up in Hispanic culture, everyone called me Memo. Same way Bill is the nickname for William, Memo is the nickname for Guillermo. That name carried me through my childhood, my early adult years, and into the streets that shaped me.
Then came the corporate world. And I made a decision — I started introducing myself as Guillermo.
But Guillermo never forgot what Memo learned on the way up.
