Do not understand the issues with the background music. It adds so much. It’s atmospheric and relevant. The content is well researched and beautifully presented by Stephen Fry. Lovely orator. Found the humour, accurate references and interesting anecdotes fascinating. I also loved how he constantly refers to the etymology of unfamiliar words. But I’m a geek. It’s a must listen. I also listens on 1.3x and it was perfect.
