The New Jersey Devils traded for Connor Hellebuyck. James Nichols of New Jersey Hockey Now breaks down the full deal: Dawson Mercer, Nico Daws, Nick Bjugstad, the rights to Alexander Command and two picks go to Winnipeg, and Sunny Mehta keeps every first-round pick. We get into the A-minus grade, the cap math with no retained salary, when Hellebuyck could debut (Oct. 30 at Vegas or Nov. 3 vs. Edmonton?), Remi Poirier vs. Dallas, the Taylor Hall trade tree, and what this means for Quinn Hughes and Dylan Larkin.
