  • Derek Piotr is a folklorist, researcher and performer whose work focuses primarily on the human voice. In 2020, Derek started his Fieldwork Archive to collect folksong, poetry, and memories. Recently, I met up with Derek at the Burnham Library in Bridgewater, Connecticut to discuss his work and the archive.
