I've occasionally listened to an episode when an interesting guest comes on, however with each episode I'm surprised at the lack of effort to improve the audio quality.

I hope the feedback I give can help to improve it.

For example, in the most recent episode, from the beginning, the host has a sibilance problem. Creating that very harsh S sound. That can be fixed with a £10 pop filter or applying a software filter on Audacity. There's also the lack of a noise gate, meaning that chairs moving, papers shuffling and background noise gets recorded.

If I do sound moany, it's because these are easy fixes and does impact people's first impression of the podcast.

Quality guests, but let down by poor production value.
