  • Ep 384 Remastered: The Forgotten Victims: The A1 Linked Attacks, Continued Part 5
    Oct 29 2026
In this remastered Crime Analyst series, Laura Richards puts the women back at the centre of the story. For decades, the women murdered and attacked by Peter Sutcliffe (known as PS in this series) were overshadowed by the man who targeted them. Laura continues to analyse the A1 linked offences, the brutal attacks on Yvonne Pearson, Helen Rytka, Anna Rogulskyj and Vera Millward by Peter Sutcliffe. Laura analyses Joan Harrison’s rape and murder, the letters received by Assistant Chief Constable George Oldfield as well discussing a major breakthrough in the investigation. You won’t want to miss this. See Crime Analyst’s Instagram, Facebook or the Crime Analyst Squad for graphics detailing what she found. Laura’s specialist unit at New Scotland Yard was later created due to the catastrophic failures in the case. It remains one of the most misunderstood serial murder cases of our time - and why Crime Analyst refuses to use the moniker that made him famous while the women became the forgotten victims. Join Laura in the intelligence cell as she re-examines the case through an expert behavioural analysis lens, centering the victims whilst focusing on risk and prevention. Listener discretion advised. • Ep 382 Remastered: The Forgotten Victims: The A1 Linked Attacks, Part 4
    Oct 22 2026
In this remastered Crime Analyst series, Laura Richards puts the women back at the centre of the story. For decades, the women murdered and attacked by Peter Sutcliffe (known as PS in this series) were overshadowed by the man who targeted them. Laura shares other attacks on women she believes are linked to PS including Marilyn Moore who survived and gave a photofit in 1977, 14-year-old Tracy Browne who saw the photofit and re-reported the man who almost killed her and Olive Smelt’s near lethal attack 12 days before Tracy was attacked. When Laura pulled all the photofits and mapped the attacks – she blew the lid off the case. Laura Richards is incredible in the way she brings her expertise in homicide prevention, Unlike much true crime, which feels voyeuristic, she foregrounds the victims' stories and is a passionate advocate for change. It's like having a friend alongside, helping empower us as women and understand the mindset that is behind femicide in particular. The detail with which she walks the listener through cases is astounding. I can't stop listening.

So much more than a true crime podcast

really interesting deep dive into criminal mind and criminal actions and behaviour. I was fascinated listening, particularly to the Sophie Toscan du Plantier episodes as I know that area well and remember the shock I felt when her murder happened in a place i felt so safe and at peace.

highly recommend
