  • Still Called: The Story of Moses - Trapped Between Pharoah and the Sea
    Oct 20 2026

There are moments when we find ourselves completely trapped, with no clear way forward and no way back. The story of Israel at the Red Sea reveals something important: difficulty does not mean we have missed God's will. In fact, God directed Israel to that exact location, knowing Pharaoh would pursue them there. Sometimes obedience leads us directly to places where our own ability runs out. Moses responded not with panic or schemes, but with stillness and trust. Faith is not passive, but it is also not frantic. God parted the sea, but Israel still had to choose to walk through it. Grace enables our response, but we still have to respond.

  • Still Called: The Story of Moses - When You're Sure God Chose Wrong
    Oct 12 2026

Moses was not at a spiritual retreat or leadership conference when God called him. He was simply at work, tending sheep in the wilderness, when an ordinary moment became holy ground. God revealed His plan to rescue His people from Egypt and invited Moses to participate in what He was already doing. Moses responded with objection after objection, from self-doubt to fear of rejection to outright refusal. Each time, God redirected Moses away from his own limitations and toward the character and presence of God Himself. The central question God answered was not who Moses was, but who would be going with him. Our calling is not about our qualifications. It is about the One who sends us and walks alongside us.

  • Still Called: The Story of Moses - When Moses Plays Savior
    Oct 8 2026

Moses was a murderer before he was a deliverer, and that is exactly where God met him. Seeing injustice and feeling called to fix it are not the same thing, and Moses learned that lesson the hard way. A God-given burden does not automatically justify a self-appointed solution. Good intentions do not sanctify bad methods. Grace does not erase the past, but it refuses to let the past write the final chapter. God calls us as we are, but He never calls us to stay as we are. The goal of grace is not simply that we become useful to God. The goal is that we become holy, shaped more and more into the likeness of Christ.
