God gave an order to all things, including gender roles. Through translation and several commentators, we can see that the role of the woman was not inferior to the role of the man or vice versa. The slavery described in the Bible is not like the slavery of modern times. Jesus has given us power of attorney to act on His behalf, using His name. So why have our prayers become powerless? Are we just uttering words when we finish our prayers, “in Jesus’ name”?
