Cameron Esposito Schools Coastal Idiots on Queer Culture & Drag Kings | Coastal Idiots - Episode 069
    Oct 27 2026
Comedian Cameron Esposito stops by Coastal Idiots to talk about hosting King of Drag, becoming a new mom, and finding a completely different kind of happiness after two decades of stand-up comedy. Cameron attempts to educate the idiots on drag kings, gay culture, and the finer points of fitting in at a bear bar, while Katherine considers finding herself a drag dad. One must ponder; can Shane Torres successfully blend into a gay bear bar? Does Katherine Blanford have what it takes to become a drag king? PLUS things get even weirder when Two Truths and a Lie turns into a collection of childhood humiliations involving fake medical emergencies, questionable hygiene, and one deeply, DEEPLY unfortunate glass of water. It's funny, surprisingly heartfelt, and exactly as ridiculous as you'd expect. ++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Coastal Idiots is a weekly comedy podcast where each week your host Shane and Katherine are joined by a friend or two where they do something very stupid and hilarious. Oct 20 2026
Comedian, cartoonist, and PBS host Mo Welch joins Shane Torres and Katherine Blanford for another gloriously ridiculous episode of Coastal Idiots! Is Katherine's exterminator secretly a giant insect wearing a human suit? Also Mo talks about her new PBS series The Drawing Room and retiring from recreational basketball (Is recreational basketball worth destroying your knees?), and Shane reflects on the strange world of stand-up comedy. And should anyone ever trust Shane Torres with a marker? The Idiots and Mo attempt to recreate illicit drawings traced on each other's backs. All this and more… Plus, Mo's daughter refuses to play basketball unless she's dressed as Elphaba, the gang debates which celebrities are actually funny, and the art of lying about watching your friends' comedy specials! ++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Coastal Idiots is a weekly comedy podcast where each week your host Shane and Katherine are joined by a friend or two where they do something very stupid and hilarious. Found this podcast because I like this comedian Kyle Kinane.

It is a bit confusing to listen to as what I grafts they are 3 people but they're not really introduced at the start of it but I listen to the Taco Bell episode as my first one and it was really good still a bit confusing but I would definitely recommend giving it a go if you like the the people that do it.

Thank you 🙂

Not sure what I thought 💭
