About this listen

Moriarty tugs on the threads of a chilling plot against him. And as “the game” that killed Rose comes into clearer focus, he enlists unlikely allies to confirm his devilish deductions.

Available in Dolby Atmos on Audible.

I really enjoyed it, another wonderful dramatisation from audible. I will definitely be listening to the second instalment!

Great audiobook

Thoroughly enjoyable romp and retelling of the Sherlock Holmes mythos. Recommended listening for the discerning.

Redefining Sherlock

I agree with an earlier reviewer re accents (by the trans-Atlantic actors): fairly woeful, imho.

Have given up on this. There are plenty of mixed cast audible/BBC Sounds works where dialect coaches have done a superb job and the performers have delivered as close to perfect dialogue as one could wish for.

Maths not math..

The premise is interesting but the execution is terrible. The script is dire, the accents are laughably awful and at time painful but it is slickly produced. It’s definitely a sow’s ear of an audiobook but a neatly stitched together bit of butchery.

Big budget, low grade writing
