  • Boots and All S1 EP 10 Matthew 11:28-30 (Kerry and Bryan Kruuse)
    Jan 27 2026

Join Jordan and Zac for a deeply encouraging chat with Kerry and Bryan Kruuse. The Kruuse family moved from South Africa to Australia and they have a beautiful perspective on life with God leading in all things.

    WORDS OF LIFE:

    Matthew 11:28-30

“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”

    Takeaways:

    • God is working all things together for the good of those who love Him (Romans 8:28)
    • Perspective is so important for our daily interactions with others
    • God is always carrying us

    'Footprints' Prayer

One night I dreamed I was walkingalong the beach with the Lord. Many scenes from my life flashed across the sky.In each scene I noticed footprints in the sand.Sometimes there were two sets of footprints, other times there were one set of footprints. This bothered me because I noticed thatduring the low periods of my life, when I wassuffering from anguish, sorrow or defeat,I could see only one set of footprints. So I said to the Lord,”You promised meLord, that if I followed you,you would walk with me always. But I have noticed that during the most trying periodsof my life there have only beenone set of footprints in the sand. Why, when I needed you most, you have not been there for me?”The Lord replied,“The times when you haveseen only one set of footprints,is when I carried you.”

  • Boots and All S1 EP 9 Proverbs 19:21 (Dave Griffiths)
    Jan 20 2026

This week, Zac and Jordan share a special chat with Dave Griffiths, diving into Proverbs 19:21 and the reality of trusting God with the 'plan' for our lives.

    WORDS OF LIFE:

    Proverbs 19:21

"Many are the plans in a person's heart, but it is the LORD's purpose that prevails."

    Takeaways:

    • Trust God with what you have - even if it is one minute a day. Surrender your day to Him.

    • You may never see 'it' - but have faith. Abraham moved the Father’s heart and he became the father of nations.

    • God’s love and thoughts towards us are so much more than we can ever imagine.

  • Boots and All S1 EP 8 (Bitesize // IDOLS)
    Jan 13 2026

Join Zac and Jordan for another 'bite sized' episode of Boots and All. This week, we dive into the topic of Idols.

    WORDS OF LIFE:

    Colossians 3:5 (The Message)

5-8 And that means killing off everything connected with that way of death: sexual promiscuity, impurity, lust, doing whatever you feel like whenever you feel like it, and grabbing whatever attracts your fancy. That’s a life shaped by things and feelings instead of by God. It’s because of this kind of thing that God is about to explode in anger. It wasn’t long ago that you were doing all that stuff and not knowing any better. But you know better now, so make sure it’s all gone for good: bad temper, irritability, meanness, profanity, dirty talk.

    Takeaways:

    • My own thoughts can be an idol. In what ways can this be true for you?

    • The idol of 'right thinking' - what does that look like for you?

    • The idol of being tired. How have some of your thoughts become part of your identity (and therefore become elevated above God)?
