  • When Life Feels Overwhelming — Finding Your Footing in Stressful Situations
    Oct 30 2026

Have you ever felt like you're carrying so much that you don't know where to begin?

This episode is especially close to my heart. As I sat down to record, I realized it was October 17th—exactly thirteen years after I first sat down with a blank composition book and promised myself I would begin telling the truth about my life.

That night, I made four small goals to take better care of myself. I had no idea those simple steps would become the foundation of my Foundations program, or that my writing would eventually grow into the philosophy I now call Becoming.

In Episode 21, I share that personal story and explore how we can recognize stress, choose our responses, care for ourselves, and find our next step when life feels overwhelming.

You don't have to figure everything out today. Sometimes, you just have to begin.

    Becoming, always returning.

If you're ready to move beyond a life that's simply good and begin finding more fulfillment in your everyday life, you're in the right place.

Welcome to Becoming. I'm Carrie, and I'm glad you're here.

    Let's begin.

Thank you for spending this time with me.

  • How to Build Trust Within Yourself
    Oct 23 2026

How to Build Trust Within Yourself

What if trusting yourself isn't something you have to figure out before you begin, but something you build through the choices you make every day?

In this episode of The Becoming Podcast, we explore how self-trust develops as we move from awareness into alignment. Through small, intentional actions, consistent effort, and a willingness to give ourselves grace when things don't go as planned, we begin building confidence in our ability to follow through on what matters to us.

You'll discover why perfection isn't necessary, how even small steps can strengthen your belief in yourself, and why the relationship you have with yourself deserves the same patience and intention as any other relationship you want to nurture.

If you're ready to put what you've learned about yourself into action, I'll also share how Foundations Four can help you begin.

You don't have to change everything today. You just have to begin showing up for yourself.

    Becoming, always returning.

If you're ready to move beyond a life that's simply good and begin finding more fulfillment in your everyday life, you're in the right place.

  • Begin Fully Accepting Yourself Exactly As You Are
    Oct 16 2026

Have you ever looked back at an earlier version of yourself and wished you had been kinder to the woman you were? Or found yourself frustrated with who you are today because you aren't the person you used to be?

Life changes. Our bodies change, our priorities shift, and circumstances sometimes pull us away from the routines and practices that once helped us feel our best. Yet we often judge ourselves for those changes without considering everything we've experienced along the way.

In this episode of The Becoming Podcast, I'm exploring what it means to accept yourself exactly as you are today, without giving up on growth or the things you want for your life.

Through personal reflection and a guided practice, we'll explore how to look back with compassion, understand where we are today, and reconnect with what matters without trying to recreate a life that no longer fits.

Because you can honor the woman you used to be, appreciate the woman you've become, and still be excited about the woman you're becoming.

You are not starting over. You are starting from here.

If you're ready to move beyond a life that's simply good and begin finding more fulfillment in your everyday life, you're in the right place.

Welcome to Becoming. I'm Carrie, and I'm glad you're here.

  • What Are You Resisting That Is Keeping You Stuck?
    Oct 9 2026

What Are You Resisting That Is Keeping You Stuck?

Sometimes the things we resist most are the very things worth looking at a little more closely.

In this episode of Becoming, Carrie explores four moments in her own life when her immediate response was, “No. Absolutely not. That’s not me.” Each time, she resisted the question, wrestled with it, and eventually discovered something she couldn't see at first.

Looking back, she sees something different now: four actual moments where resistance became a doorway into a completely different direction in her life.

But this isn't about assuming that everything we resist is true—or that we should simply give in to every uncomfortable idea. It's about becoming curious about our reactions. Sometimes the strongest emotional response is pointing toward a question we haven't been willing to ask ourselves yet.

    What are you resisting?

And what if the thing you're resisting isn't something you need to accept—but a doorway?

This week, Carrie invites you to slow down, pay attention, and consider what might be keeping you stuck.

  • When Is It Time to Rest?
    Oct 2 2026

When you're building a life you love, it can be surprisingly difficult to know when it's time to stop.

This week, I'm exploring what happens when we give ourselves permission to rest—not because we've failed or run out of motivation, but because rest is part of the process.

I'll share what I've been learning through my own experience this week, what my clients have taught me about rest and recovery, and a piece of personal writing called Roots that has reminded me how much growth can happen beneath the surface.

Sometimes we get so focused on what's next that we forget to notice how far we've already come.

    Maybe rest isn't about stopping.

Maybe it's about stepping back far enough to see what's already taking root.

Question for this week: When is it time to rest—and what might you notice if you gave yourself permission to do it?

If you're ready to move beyond a life that's simply good and begin finding more fulfillment in your everyday life, you're in the right place.

Welcome to Becoming. I'm Carrie, and I'm glad you're here.

  • How Do You Know When You're Ready For Change?
    Sep 25 2026

How do you know when you're ready for change?

Sometimes we know something in our lives needs to shift long before we know what we're going to do about it. We notice something isn't quite right. We feel stuck, restless, or unsettled. We become aware of patterns that no longer fit—and then we wonder: Am I supposed to do something about this now?

In this episode, Carrie returns to a question that first surfaced in one of the very first Becoming Circles: How do you know when you're ready?

Together, we explore the space between awareness and action, the fear that can exist alongside knowing, the difference between intuition and urgency, and what it means to trust yourself when you don't have the whole path figured out.

You'll also be invited into a simple practice to help you slow down, listen to what you're noticing, and consider what “ready enough” might look like for you.

Because awareness doesn't have to be an emergency. And you don't have to force yourself to be ready.

Sometimes, the next step becomes clear when we give ourselves enough space to hear it.

The question to carry with you this week:
What is changing in you—and are you willing to trust yourself enough to let the next step reveal itself?

  • How Do You Slow Down Enough To Be Fully Present In Your Life?
    Sep 18 2026

We spend so much of our lives somewhere other than where we actually are—thinking about what happened, planning what comes next, checking our phones, preparing what we're going to say, or simply moving through the day on autopilot.

But what happens when we actually stop and pay attention?

This week's conversation took an unexpected turn during one of my workshops when a simple question came up: What are you doing while someone else is talking to you?

From listening and feeling heard, to relationships, nature, and the way we experience our own lives, this conversation became an exploration of what it really means to be present—and how presence can become a practice rather than another thing we have to get right.

You don't have to slow your entire life down.

You might just need to notice when you've left the moment you're in... and learn how to come back.

So, how do you slow down enough to be fully present in your life?

  • What Is It Time to Let Go Of?
    Sep 11 2026

What Is It Time to Let Go Of?

This week, I’m doing something a little different.

Instead of simply talking about an idea or sharing something I’ve been thinking about, I’m inviting you to do a little Becoming work with me.

The question we’re exploring is simple:

What is it time to let go of?

In this episode, I’ll walk you through a reflection exercise you can actually do alongside me. You’ll have the opportunity to pause, notice what feels heavy, name what you may be carrying, get curious about why you’re still holding onto it, and consider what might become possible if you were willing to put it down.

And I’m doing the exercise too.

I don’t know what my answer is going to be when I sit down with the question. I’m not going to pretend I do. I want to discover it alongside you—and see what happens when I give myself the same space and attention that I invite you to give yourself.

Because Becoming isn’t about reaching a place where you have everything figured out. Life still gets heavy. We still question ourselves. We still lose our motivation and sometimes have no idea what the next step is.

The practice is having somewhere to return to when we don't know.

And as we step into autumn—the Season of Expression, courage, and showing up more fully as who we are becoming—we’re also reminded by nature that some things are ready to fall away.

What is it time to let go of?

You may be surprised by what comes up.

And remember: you don't have to have the answer before you sit down to ask the question... in fact maybe it is better if you don't.
