In this sermon our guest speaker Pastor Ray Cowell returns to James, this time in James 3:1-12. He speaks on how your words can have different effects depending on how you act and who's around. How you should surround yourself with godly things so that the words and thoughts you have are godly.

In this sermon pastor William continues our series on James. This time looking at James 2:14-26 which speaks on not just having faith but also showing our faith in our actions. As is written in verse 14 "What good is it if a man claims to have faith but has no deeds?" And in verse 17, "Faith by itself, if not accompanied by action, is dead."

In this sermon pastor William continues our series on the book of James and speaks on how we shouldn't have favoritism for others. As James 2:1-13 says: "If you really keep the royal law found in Scripture, “Love your neighbor as yourself,” you are doing right. But if you show favoritism, you sin and are convicted by the law as lawbreakers. For whoever keeps the whole law and yet stumbles at just one point is guilty of breaking all of it."". We must treat all people regardless of wealth, social status, or education as we would any other person. In Christ Jesus, there is no rich or poor, educated or uneducated, qualified or unqualified, only royal sons and daughters of God.

In this sermon our speaker Michael Dombrowski goes over James 2:13-27, speaks on abiding in The Bible even when you are being tested. The book is a mirror, a mirror that reflects you and it reflects Jesus when you read it. Even when it may be discomforting it's still important to abide in the book, the mirror, because it's law, because it's beautiful, because when you abide in the book God will heal all.

In this sermon, we begin a new series on the epistle of James. And in this first talk, We'll be looking at suffering and glory, James 1:1-12. But first, some background to this letter. It was written by James, who was the brother of Jesus. We can only imagine how complex and challenging it must have been to be a sibling of the Son of God, the Messiah, the one who sits at the Father's right hand in glory. To be family to Jesus must have been a difficult thing to comprehend.

This week, Pastor William spoke about prayer and what we can learn from Jesus about priestly prayer. How Jesus spent prolonged periods of time in prayer. How we should follow that example in prayer to grow closer to God.

In this sermon, we return to our series on being a royal priesthood and a holy nation. That famous description of the church by the Apostle Peter. And the question we've been asking throughout this series is, what does it look like for us as a body to be priestly? What does it mean for Christians to be a holy priesthood?

This week pastor William spoke on giving, financial giving. He speaks on giving out of love. He starts not by looking at money specifically, but by looking at God. For the purpose of preaching is to glorify God. We point towards the nature of God. And God himself is a giver.
