Today we have: Look, we recorded AMT421 the day before Tim Curry died, and it was pure chance that we appeared to pay tribute to him by slagging off two of his most beloved films. He’s very good in them! He’s even very good in Olly’s pick for the worst film ever made! We all want Olly to write a memoir, right? Full of anecdotes about the many times when he almost met celebrities? Sally has a tip for silencing those musical washing machines before they launch into the full symphony. Should Olly satisfy his anthropological curiosity about what it’s like to go to a Roy Chubby Brown gig, or does that just make him someone who willingly attends a Roy Chubby Brown gig? Helena in Aotearoa New Zealand informs us that some of the washing machines of Aotearoa New Zealand play a selection of national anthems. And/or Crazy Frog. The bidet chat continues to flow: Molly in London asks if it’s ok to wash her bum with the water from her dehumidifier. Erm, best not. But what can you do with that water? Helen, Olly and Martin created a podcast phenomenon from 2007 to 2021. They answered questions you always wanted to know the answers to and some you never thought of asking. With adult humour and often strong language, this is for a more mature audience.. however most episodes are suitable for older teenage ears. If you want pure entertainment on your journey or just to sit back and relax, this is the podcast you want to be binging the wealth of previous episodes. Fans of answer me this were devastated when the three decided to quit, But Olly continues today with many different podcasts including the Modern Mann and the Retrospectors. fans of Answer Me This, still hope that one day it may return.

I rarely write reviews but the fact they only have one review has motivated me to write one. I never really cared for podcasts before I started listening to AMT but their humour and dynamics as well as their unceasing commitment to making episodes for us has kept me coming back and listening. Ive listened to every episode and now pop it on at bedtime every night so I can relisten to them and enjoy the welcome levity and familiarity of their content.
They are always funny and you can tell they put a lot of effort in to answering the questions as accurately as possible. having had one of my own questions answered previously I highly recommend giving it a listen as well as sending them whatever random question you have swirling in your mind
