  • Sleep In Heavenly Peace
    Jan 17 2026

Mike chats with Founder Luke Mickelson. Sleep in Heavenly Peace (SHP) is a national nonprofit dedicated to making sure no child has to sleep on the floor. Through a network of local chapters, volunteers build and deliver beds—complete with a mattress and bedding—to children ages 3–17 who lack a safe place to sleep. SHP exists because a bed is a basic need tied to a child’s health, comfort, and dignity, and its mission is summed up in a simple promise: “No kid sleeps on the floor in our town.”
