　東京から大阪まで、「特急はと」の一等に乗るためだけに、多額の借金をし、着いた途端に戻ってくる。道連れは、国鉄に務める「ヒマラヤ山系」君。口数が少ない彼との間で交わされるとぼけた会話が可笑しい。
