Fantastic! Need I say more? This has a little bit of everything and Carly Spade incorporates it all in fun, steamy romance. Zeus/Zane, a defense attorney has taken on a murder case. He knows the guilt of his client, but going up against the beautiful, feisty prosecutor is part of the fun. But though his godly charm is irresistible, she seems to be able to keep her distance. Keira is an empath, feeling everything the people around her do, and she knows he is a player. But how long will she be able to resist? And when she finds out the truth, what will she do? Spade crosses one of my favorite things, Greek mythology with romance, giving us all the history and background of Zeus to give us a good understanding of who he is, what he needs and takes us on his journey to get a Queen. It's spicy, it's sweet and all around fun. With Hades and Poseidon popping in, we enjoy family, traditions and all the brotherly love they can deal with. It's a fabulous listen and I can't wait to hear more!

Thomas Locklear and Stella Bloom deliver the story in duet and they are perfectly cast. Locklear shines as Zeus. His deep, sensual baritone is charismatic and pulls us in to the story. Bloom is feisty, smart and confident as Keira. I enjoyed this collaboration and hope to hear more from these two.

Yes this book is part of a series, however each book can be read as a standalone. I’ve listend to book one, Hades, and this one. I was not lost in the slightest for not reading or listening to the others.
Zane/Zeus is in quite the predicament in needing to find a new queen. However, he’s searching for something a bit more. Then he falls for the opposing counsel and things really start to heat up. Kiara is a prosecuting attorney that can’t stand defense lawyers, until she meets Zane. Both characters really grow and mature throughout this book, and the dual narrative is spot on. Stella and Thomas really do make a dynamic team. If you enjoy the Mythical Greek Gods then definitely listen to this one.

I loved it when I read the ebook but the audiobook takes it to the next level. Love the duet with Thomas Locklear and Stella Bloom .
