The story is interesting but the narrator is overdoing it with stretching every word. At times, it gets too annoying to listen, so I was tempted to download the book and read it myself. Too slow, too dragging of a listen.

good story, keeps you on your toes

Excellent story and great narrated. I love Ruth Ware, she’s so talented. Excellent reading by Imogen Church, hope she will read the next book as well. Looking forwards to the next book already.

Excellent story

I love Ruth Ware and all her other books have been amazing and unputdownable. This however was predictable and far fetched, tedious at points. I finished it and had it been a new author I'd have rated it higher. I feel like she had the bones of a story for a great plot, but it just didn't hit the usual high points. It was simply ok, which isn't OK. Sorry but for once Ruth you didn't hit the mark.

Not up to RW usual standards

very unlikely scenarios too unbelievable, physically impossible too exaggerated chases and escapes. Boring and repetitive

dramatic performance

The story is really interesting, the constant “throb in the voice” and “sighing” and awkward pauses by the narrator is unbelievably irritating

Great story narration really bad
