Kept me going to the end wish it told us what came next in series

Both main characters are thoroughly unlikeable. The female main character is pathetic and can't seem to function as an adult. The male main character is beyond creepy and obnoxious and there's nothing remotely redeemable about either of them. This is the first of this series where I genuinely didn't want them to end up together, or with anyone as tbh no-one deserves to have either of these idiots inflicted upon them. Physically could not make it through the sex scene.
