Informative

This was an in-depth explanation of how to manage a football squad,I was able to get what I needed in guiding my people correctly. It is a thorough manual that covers every topic, including player vetting and especially teaching philosophies.
The narration of the book was very good, and the voice was pleasing to the ear so that you would want to continue listening. The content, as discussed above, was good enough.

Coach For Your Life

I have been a football coach for 5 years as my son got involved at an early age and I am always looking for ways to improve the team. So I can definitely recommend this book based on chapters 6 and 7 which has the fundamentals and advanced drills for defense and offence respectively. The book teaches you how to get the best out of the skillsets of the players you have at your disposal. I like how the book doesn't just focus on the training ground but there is a chapter on what to do on game day. Focus and execution are everything in this game and this is a recurring theme. Diet and nutrition are covered and the importance of hydration. The narration is excellent and it sounds like the author really knows his stuff

Help young athletes navigate physical activity

This book is a valuable resource for anyone who wants to create a youth football program. I love that it covers things like safety and precautions, getting people to help you and dealing with parents who are not interested with the goal of helping you be effective and competent as a coach. It's really practical too.

Coaching Greatness

CR Edwards has written a great book and it is expertly narrated by Mel Hughes. The narration is so good because we were taking lots of notes during our listening to the book and had to rewind or pause the audio very infrequently to make the notes and comprehend what was being said.

As parents of 3 boys we have coached them in every sport. One of them now says he want to try football. So......we searched for a book that would help us help them learn the game and coach them to success.

This book has it all and frankly some great tips for coaching youth sports other football.

However , the fundamentals Mr. Edwards gives to teach the team are great. His 5P's concept is really spot on. But the thing that stuck out most to us was the daily practice plans. Too many coaches have practice and do very little planning. His concept of practice planning and the plans themselves really set this book apart.

This is a great coaching book and we hightly recommend it.

A Football Coach’s Bible

First off, the narration for this powerful book is excellent. The voice is clear and the tone elicits attention. I like the fact that the author speaks from experience and I admire the level of detail that he has presented in this audiobook. I did not realize the range of life skills and ethics that young players can develop by playing American football. The principles of integrity, hard work, dedication, and teamwork are all expounded in this book.

I particularly enjoyed the advice on what to do at the end of the season. The offer of bespoke awards is such an excellent and motivating idea. The inclusion of parents as part of the process is also an excellent recipe for success. This book will prove invaluable to coaches and is useful to parents who are keen to help their youngsters excel in the game.

Great warmups

This book is full of so much good information about how to be a good coach. I love how it not only gives examples of good warm-ups but also talks about the importance of finding a warm-up that works well for your specific team. It needs to be something that not only warms up their bodies but also gets them hyped up mentally. I hadn't thought about the mental aspect of it before, but it makes sense. That part of it is so important too!
