Story
This audiobook is pragmatical, not philosophical; a practical manual, not a treatise upon theories. It is intended for the men and women whose most pressing need is for money; who wish to get rich first, and philosophize afterward. It is for those who have, so far, found neither the time, the means, nor the opportunity to go deeply into the study of metaphysics, but who want results and who are willing to take the conclusions of science as a basis for action, without going into all the processes by which those conclusions were reached.

Most people have beautiful dreams deep inside - the things they would like to have, the relationships they'd love to enjoy, and the wellness and well-being that would help them express their best, in every way. But often those dreams lie buried inside us. Hidden by fear or unworthiness or a lack of awareness of what could be. Asking is the only language to which the Universe can deliver a solution, understanding, illumination, or plan.

Story
The old psychological models that focused on past hurts and traumatic memories have given way to exciting new breakthroughs, like Dr. Martin Seligman's work on post-traumatic strength and Dr. George Pransky's work on human beings' innate resilience and well-being. No more fixating on psychic wounds that occurred in childhood. Chandler's new revision looks at the work of both of those pioneers and makes optimism available to people who never believed they could reinvent their old ways of being.

This guy is a practiced genius!
- By warren on 27-07-18
Summary
Do you wish life came with a "do over" button? Are you in desperate need of change, but fail to act when it comes to actually changing? Do any of the following sentences sound like you?
- You fantasize about a better future constantly but feel powerless to make your fantasies come true
- You look at your life and wonder "How the hell did I end up here?" or "Is this it?"
- You can't let go of the past and agonize over what you could've done differently
- You've tried to change and failed more times than you can count
- You want something better for your life, but you don't know where to start
If you're nodding to any of these questions...I wrote this book for you.
What if I told you that you didn't need tons of willpower to change the direction of your life? What if I told you that a few subtle shifts in the way you think could mean the difference between staying stuck and living the life of your dreams? Don't worry. This book won't tell you to simply "set goals" or "dream big!" Those words sound nice, but they don't actually change anything. See, until you become someone who is capable of changing your circumstances, you won't change them.
Some gurus will tell you to "show grit!" or "muster up the guts to succeed!", but statements like those don't go beneath the surface. I know you have what it takes to change your life. Why? Because you're here right now - searching for ways to improve. If you take a small chance on yourself and listen to the book, you'll find the answers and insights you've been searching for.

Amazing book it you're trying to change yourself
Really good book and excellent narration. I finished it in 3 days even though I had work. Very helpful. It also gives you little exercises to fill in at the end of each chapter. I haven't done them yet, but thinking about it it might be best to do them now so that I go through the chapters again and let the words sink in, really listen to what this guy is saying. If he's done it then why not me? Thank you Ayo, I'll keep reading your blog.

Excellent !
I’ve been a fan of Ayodeji since discovering him on medium digest this year. Needless to say he fast became one of my favorite writers and I found myself resonating increasingly with his articles. I’m so glad I bought this book, it has only corroborated how useful and empowering I find how work. Effective, straight talking strategies that work, delivered in a way that keeps you engaged. I only wish the book had been longer

Different then most self help books!!! Loved it
Ayodeji is not your typical know it all self help book author. This is what I found the most interesting from this book. He lives it! Listening to this was as if I was talking with my best friend who was giving me advice. Not one of those just do ABC and your fine,. The author allows you to decide what fits for you. He provides guidance and suggestions but its up to you.
My only complaint is that it was too short!

Inspiring and practical read
Thank you for sharing your talent/passion with the world Ayo… your story resonates with me on a very personal level and I appreciate that! No biggie, but I can’t help to mention the ever so slight annoyance, yet acceptance of, the very much Westernized pronunciation of your name lol… it would’ve sounded so much more “you” if pronounced with Nigerian tongue but that was just the narrator I know… it’s all good! Much love to you on your continued journey and may we circle to meet in the flesh. ❤️

This is a must read to anyone who is looking for positive change in your life.
This book was just what I needed to get out of my head and unstuck in life. The author mentioned so many things I’d been struggling with personal, and gave a clear way in how to deal with it.
I admire that the author is also going through a life transformation too. I love getting real life information from someone who is practicing what they preach.
I’d recommend anyone who is ready to take the leap on yourself and your not so distant future, to consider picking up the book.
