A book that will make you laugh and cry.
A fantastic book read by a wonderful woman. Full of real stories, anecdotes and ponderings with lots of famous guests. This book made me laugh and cry.

What can I say? I LOVE Amy Poehler...
When I found out this was read by Amy I just HAD to buy it - I've loved her for years, from her time on SNL, Parks & Rec and her film appearances, she has always made me smile
Her method of narrating the book is how you can imagine her just chatting to you and telling you a story or ten, she's funny, light, laughing at bits as though she's remembering it as she's talking, it just draws you in and pulls you along for the ride
This is a great book for fans of Amy, and if you don't know her, it's still a fun book for the stories - I can't recommend this book highly enough, if you want a bit of history of a brilliant comedian and all of her journeys, then don't hesitate to get this

God I love Amy Poehler.
The reading was perfect, the cast was perfect, the topics covered were so so good. I recovered better from a cold by listening to this.
Amy Poehler is a God. And she needs to be treated as such.

Finally I finished a book
Wow how touchy and funny this book is . I was taking a walk every night and listening this book . I m glad people write about their emotions so we dont feel alone .

So sad when it finished. I wanted to listen to her forever.
This book filled me with joy, and made me cry, and taught me stuff and made me want to be best friends with Amy Poehler. She is open and honest about her life experiences, admits her mistakes and tells us what she has learned, not in like, a patronising way, in a clever, funny and raw kind of way. Above all, she is hilarious and so are all of her friends. Thank-you Amy for finishing this book and sharing it with the world <3

Very enjoyable, except for the last chapter
Last chapter is read live by author. The audience seems to be high?! I had to skip the last 10 minutes, I just couldn't take the "laughter" anymore.

Loved it!
I am a young British business woman - absolutely loved this. Only improvement would have been more audio of live readings - last chapter was most entertaining. Thank you Amy Poehler for sharing your story.

What a brilliant woman!!
I have loved listening to Yes Please. Amy Poehler is a wonderful, smart and hilarious woman :) She is down to earth and witty and it is like carrying a friend around on your phone, who will keep you company and the dullest moments of your day. I looked forward to my commute and my food shopping, just so I could listen to more.
