It was a day like any other day for Marina Trahan…until she caught her husband in bed with another woman. She has roughly a week to do it. Solving a centuries-old mystery seems like a more interesting proposition than the other situations Marina is facing, so she accepts his challenge. But her search for a magical item of power reveals far more about Marina than she ever knew. Maybe enough to save the world. And even herself.

This is a classic example of the remarkable story telling from the imagination if Jana Delayon .She created both humour and suspense as always and I would recommend this to everyone.

It was such a beautiful well written story, especially when the main characters are over 40! I laughed throughout the story. I hope there is a book 2.

Jana DeLeon hits the jackpot again with this superb, laugh out loud story. Great characters and storyline, proving you don’t have to be young to have fun and enjoy life. First time I’ve come across Hollis McCarthy and I loved her narrative. Hope there’s a book 2.
