.... the narration was "wooden," it lacked fluidity. The story itself was good with good plot.

loved this book. but the narrator sounded very unnatural. robotic in some bits. ruined it for me.

The story is okay, I guess, but the interactions between characters is strained, cringey and a little odd. Theres too many over reactions to minor inconveniences.
The narration doesn’t help. Maybe if the narrator had less of a monotone then it wouldn’t be as hard to listen to.
Glad I didn’t spend a credit on this.

Maybe I’m too used to Angela Marston 🙈
