About this listen

***A classic Christmas Carole with a brand-new look***

Janie Johnson is ringing the changes this Christmas.

As a thirty-something hairdresser, Janie's single status is a constant source of concern for her clients as well as her friends. So after one too many questions about her love life, a blind date disaster and hearing her ex-boyfriend is getting married, Janie decides it's time to do something dramatic.

Leaving winter behind, Janie takes the plunge and books an exotic trip to Africa. Her friends think she's mad and Janie thinks they may very well be right. Until that is she meets her gorgeous tour guide, Dominic.

But all good things must come to an end. Can Janie now face spending a snowy Christmas back home without him, or will she get her Christmas wish in Wrapped up in You

I really enjoyed listening to this book as it was an unusual story, about Jaime a hairdresser in her 30's deciding to start again romantically after coming out of a 7 year relationship.

After hearing her ex is getting married and is expecting a baby girl, Jaime decides to go on a safari holiday a month before Christmas,

In Africa Jaime falls in love with the African warrior tour guide Dominic, who falls in love with her and they up up spending Christmas together.
In the New Year Dominic moves to England, to build a western life in Jaime's cottage in Milton Keynes which is funny and fascinating but with it's challenges.

I like listening to books narrated by Claire Corbett as she is good at her job.
Carole Matthews books are always amazingly different which I love. I listened to the whole book within 24 hours as it got me hooked.

I bought this listen in the audible sale and I recommend it 🌠
