Summary

Wyatt is overwhelmed after his grandfather dies, leaving him to take over the cattle ranch. Ich mag die Bücher von DJ Jamison und das Audiobook wird sowohl dem Schreibstil wie auch den Protagonisten gerecht. Wyatt Baker hat eine sehr angenehme Stimme, die das Hören zu einem Genuss macht.
Auf den Inhalt werde ich nicht weiter eingehen, dafür gibt es Klappentext und Leseprobe, wer Cowboys mag, kann hier nichts falsch machen. Ich hoffe sehr, dass die Marital Bliss Reihe noch fortgesetzt wird.
Wrangling a Groom ist der zweite Band einer Serie, kann aber ohne Vorkenntnisse gelesen/ gehört werden.

Since his grandfather died, Wyatt has been managing the Texan ranch he grew up on but things are grim. When estranged childhood friend, Diego, returns for a funeral, their anger, wounded pride, and hurt feelings boil over again. I really liked the multifaceted storyline which included the frenemy romance, a sabotage mystery, and the history / future of the ranch. Wyatt Baker adds extra colour and excitement with his narration.

Lovely story of friends and misundersting and a long gap and finding each other again and rekindling love as adults ,beautifully written and narrated, enjoy.

Diego and Wyatt, childhood friends, then sweethearts made promises that could not be kept. Other outside forces like family, ranch life also interfered, causing both young men to separate.
Fast forward a few years later, both men meet again. This time, they're older and ready to work on getting back together.
A good story, with engaging characters, some explosive intimate scenes between the MCs (phew!).

Wyatt Baker does a very good job with the narration, especially the pacing and characterisations. Very enjoyable performance :)

I loved this audiobook!
Second chance love is one of my favourite tropes. If it's one of yours too,then I am more than happy to recommend this story.
Wyatt Baker has done a brilliant job of bringing these characters to life.
Wyatt and Diego make a marriage pact when they are children. Young love is torn apart when Wyatt's Grandfather discovers them together and gives Wyatt an ultimatum.
Full of anger and resentment,Diego leaves,moves to Miami and builds a life for himself.
They are thrown back together when Wyatt's Grandfather dies and Diego comes back to pay his respects.
All of their emotions come to a head and they clash in an angry,hot and most intimate way.
With so much emotional damage between them and their separate lives can they ever come back together?
