What a book! I had this recommended to me by my partner and wow! The writing is great and really humanised the tragedy unfolding in the book. I became so invested in the story of Danny and Connor!! You can tell the author has done a lot of research into the subject matter. The only negative I can say is that I wanted more of it!!

I knew it'll be an emotionally tough read, and i sure wasn't disappointed.
The book was everything i hoped for and more. It broke me a few times - so if you read it, and own a heart, have some tissues ready. It's well researched, and fast paced, with characters you can deeply care for.
The audiobook version was good, with only one gripe - the narrator switched point of views without so much as taking a breath, so i often got confused when suddenly the story didn't make sense: took me a minute to realise we switched over to someone else. This was annoying.

I highly recommend this book.
