My ten year old loved it

Okay- this is a rights of passage tale of a boy who loves and wants to breed pidgeons, but ends up saving the world! Its a beautifully constructed book with great character depth and highs and lows and the finale handled really well. My ten year old loved it and recommended it to his class tutor and...Hands up, I'm a fan of Daniel Hill- the narrator, anybody who has just read my other three reviews today will see that- BUT he is reaaly great!

Thriller story of a brave boy and his pidgeons!

I agree with the previous reviewer. It is a great audio book. It never lets you go. I wanted to pause but just kept listening and listening til the end.

Great stuff!

Brilliant story brilliantly told- I'm a big fan too- I love the way the story unfolds- and agree with the other two reviewers. Daniel Hill also narrated a book I had to do at school called 'Cry Wolf'; I never read the book!! I listened to the tapes!!!
