It also has some very emotional moments e.g. when Nat struggles with his shapeshifting and (SPOILER) ... feels his friends and family may not be able to support him or like him. You might need the tissues on hand for emotional types, but it is OK in the end. Promise.
I would strongly advise listening to these books in order as the plot builds significantly on the previous two books.
