Bold Bible Teacher Empowers Women to Live Free from Comparison and Rivalry

In this day of challenge and opportunity, women have been the victims of constant comparison and rivalry. It has robbed the church of the feminine voice and contribution that would make her strong. In a wild, vibrant, and relatable style, Lisa challenges women to:

  • Embrace the fact that God loves us uniquely rather than equally
  • Realize their undisputed calling
  • Reconnect to their divine identity
  • Dismantle the rivalries that keep us from God's fullness

There has never been a more desperate need for us to discover who we are and why we are daughters without rival, loved by a god without rival, entrusted with a promise without rival, to complete an assignment without rival, that is destined for an eternity without rival.

Includes questions for personal reflection and small group discussion plus additional questions designed for use with Insights to a Life Without Rival video sessions.

Some great points, but

This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?

I think this book might be better enjoyed read than as a audio book. The author quotes long bible passages which are better absorbed by reading off the page.

Great book but hard for me to listen to.

This was a great book- the message was clear and very applicable.
The audio version was difficult for me to listen to. I had to speed her up a little and even so it kinda had a robot way of speaking.
I would have stopped listening- but the message was so great.

Beautiful

I loved the book! In the first chapter I cried so much. Only because she helped me to see how much God loves me and how much he genuinely cares about me. Definitely an inspiration and revealed to me how destructive insecurity really is and how much The Holy Spirit wants to be apart of our lives daily to aid and remind us who we are in Christ. Great inspiration for teens and any woman ❤

Every girl needs to hear this! And every man!

Lisa nailed it- the rival and gender problems women have with each other and men. She also tells great stories on how to overcome and rise up to be the mighty women of God we are meant to be!

Women of America take your place

This is truth, we must take our place, as God's called with humility. We must be stripped of pride and make Him Lord of all.

Comparison is the Joy Stealer!

This audio book was read by the author Lisa! I absolutely enjoyed listening to her as she read so passionately what she has written. I also purchased the hard copy to write in and to refer to in scripture verses. This book also brought me closer to The Bible and God. Thanks so much Lisa for sharing your incredible views on what it’s like to be a woman following Christ!

Good book, difficult to listen

I love Lisa especially hearing her minister in person. She always has great revelation, humor and inspiration for women to be all God calls us to be. It was very difficult to listen to her awkwardly read her own words. The performance was very choppy, uneven and distracting. I’d suggest she let others narrate her books so it doesn’t take away from her powerful messages. I also bought the book, so I will have to go back and reread to highlight some of the great points I heard and those that were underscored in the book study group.
