About this listen

The latest novel in the Stone County Justice Series is here!

A body found lying face down in a hallway becomes former big city Detective Dan Cutter's latest Stone County case. Though the blood and witnesses suggest one thing, his gut tells him something else is going on.

Before long, he's chasing a killer, and Cutter will need all his skill and a little trickery to bring them to justice.

With the impending election in the background, Cutter must shut out the distractions to focus on finding a murderer who kills without remorse.

I've listened to four books now and the story is very similar in all of them so I think I'll leave it there. They're amiable rambles through small-town crime but I'm rather tired of, 'Sure, no problem' every other minute. The tension needs ratcheting up a bit, maybe by cutting down some of the inane dialogue.
