Books getting better but too many repeated themes
Possible slight spoiler alert. Really enjoy these books, Jill sounds a little more mature but too many repeated themes... Jill not standing up for herself, Detectives who hate PIs, New office tenants who would want Jill out, etc, etc. But the part with Jill and Kathy near the very end is truly brilliant. laugh out loud moment, I was glad I was not on the bus at the time...!!!

Love these books
I especially like it when Grandma is in them. She is the best character.
A lot has happened since the last book. This is a catch up and update. It's good but Jill is a bit annoying that she won't progress her witch skills a bit more.....I never really think her and Jack are that suited. But we'll see how that goes.
Kathy still fairly annoying too, but she always is.
No sure what I am hoping for next. Much more of Grandma and Barry and some good cases.

Jill needs to chill
I’ve loved Jill thru all these stories but I’ve got to say she’s become more than a bit annoying. The way she is with Jack and the furniture made me angry through the whole story. Relationships mean compromise for both people and she’s obnoxious with the way she put down everything of Jacks, funny how she gets Jules and Mrs. V to compromise but hasn’t looked in a mirror. Love the narrator, she brings life to the story and not as much fun to read as they are to listen to.

fun
this is the second series of the book. I keep hoping the lead character will get a backbone and more brains. I quit reading for a while and then this was all that was left.
I hate the sister and Mrs V. hate her boyfriend. would love to know about candlefield and to make her a stranger character. she let's people run all over her.. I couldn't handle being around a person in real life who is like this
the mysteries are fun and I figure then out but they aren't simple. I wish there was more about magic.
but it's a good book I am just not one for romantic stories and this isn't too bad but a good mystery

Another Fun Read!
I always enjoy the books in this series. They’re light, fun, and breezy when in the mood for something not complicated. I subtracted one star on the story this time mostly because the mysteries weren’t as developed. Also, Adele Abbott has shown just the right number of asides in previous books, but the last two had a few too many for my taste. Yet, I love the humor so it didn’t detract from the book that much. Hannah Platts just gets better with each book! The series wouldn’t be the same without her! I’m always on the lookout for when the next book appears on Audible!

Love the Characters!
This has kept my attention now for 13 books and I love the stories and characters. Hannah Platts the narrator has a lot to do with it, her voice is wonderful and pleasant to listen to, even when she's Grand Ma, Mr. Ivers or the sing song sign guy! My eyes have gotten bad and it's hard to read anything of length, so I LOVE listening to the books. Can't wait for the next one, it's my newest guilty pleasure :)

Love this series!
One day I was looking for something light hearted and not too heavy as far as content. I started with book one - and a few days later had finished the twelfth. I love the characters and watching them grow with the ongoing story is truly a joy. I usually don’t have time to sit and read a book, but I make time to read (as there are upwards of twenty + books so far) as not all of them are available as audiobooks...yet.

When we start with a leap of a year's time I was put off a bit, but was drawn back in quickly with the wit and warm familiarity woven in with the new spins. Looking forward to adding 14 to the audio library as soon as it's out. Road trip coming up, may need to revert back to book 1 and laugh our way back through from the beginning to prepare for it's arrival.
