About this listen

A terrifying bioweapon...

A hidden terrorist...

Only Jack Widow can stop them.

Deep inside Wyoming, in the dead of winter, CIA Agent Alex Shepard is desperate. A few days ago, he sent an undercover agent to the Red Rain Indian Reservation to investigate an unthinkable terrorist plot. However, when his man skipped his daily check-in, Shepard feared the worst.

A violent snowstorm fast approaches, leaving Shepard’s secret mission in peril. There is no time left, and lives are on the line. Enter drifter Jack Widow - Shepard’s one hope to recover his agent and stop a deadly domestic terrorist plot. Widow goes undercover to stop an unimaginable terrorist threat in the second “electrifying” book in the Jack Widow series.

Fans of Lee Child’s Jack Reacher, Tom Clancy, Vince Flynn’s Mitch Rapp, and Mark Greaney’s Gray Man will love the Jack Widow action-thriller series.

This was better than book one, a good plot. I am looking forward to listening to book three.

Better than book one!

Reasonable story but felt the ending was a bit loose. maybe an epilogue would have helped to put closure on the characters within the story.

ok. but needed an epilogue.

I have tried both of these novels by Scott Blade and found them disappointing. The descriptions appear strong but there are many inconsistencies and the overall plot’s are very weak. I won’t be trying any more in this series. Try John Milton novels by Mark Dawson as a better alternative IMHO.

Wannabe Jack Reacher

I do love listening to Alan Philip Ormond, he has a very easy way with him.

In this second book of the series, Widow finds himself in a snow covered Yellowstone and on to a Native American reservation in winter where he gets mixed up with a rogue CIA operative. Between the snow and slight distrust he has his work cut for himself. Great intrigue and action and kept engaged throughout
