About this listen

Don't miss the thrilling fourth chapter of Marissa Meyer's Lunar Chronicles series.

Princess Winter is admired for her grace, kindness and beauty, despite the scars on her face. She's said to be even more breath-taking than her stepmother, Queen Levana....

When Winter develops feelings for the handsome palace guard, Jacin, she fears the evil Queen will crush their romance before it has a chance to begin.

But there are stirrings against the Queen across the land. Together with the cyborg mechanic, Cinder and her allies, Winter might even find the power to launch a revolution and win a war that's been raging for far too long.

Can Cinder, Scarlet, Cress and Winter claim their happily ever afters by defeating Levana once and for all?

Quite literally the most comprehensive ending to a saga ever. Due to the beautifully long 800 pages, every moment feels earned and logical. With no quick fixes, this book fully lives up to the 3 book setup and doesn’t leave any character behind. The writing however is not the masterpiece of this book. It is the gorgeously planned plot and the sweetness and purity of the characters. It is true escapism fantasy that doesn’t pander to simple tropes. I cannot commend Meyer enough for creating a book experience so satisfying which left me feeling nothing other than full. The reread ability of this book is 2000% and it pleases me so much to read a fantasy book where the author has recognised the importance of comedy, heart but did not compromise the plot for these, but took the time to make both work symbiotically. x

A rare exhilarating, fulfilling and endearing experience

This story is exciting and made more so by the way the story gradually unfolds. The battle part was the best. I felt like I was there. Each part of the battle was carefully described. Brilliant.
I listened to the last 10 chapters in one evening.
I am sad it has finished. I will miss the characters.

Excellent story telling

Amazing end to a great series! I loved the way that fairy tales were woven into a unique sci fi retelling.

This was a really great Finale to this series, I was absolutely overjoyed to have finished these. Everything that happened wrapped up really nicely and was performed really well! The only thing for me with this particular audiobook was the occasional wrong name or pronoun. Which made a couple of bitc confusing. I would've been lost in those bits without the physical copies.

Really great final book
