Summary
Pre-order the brand-new laugh-out-loud romantic comedy from top 10 best-selling author Portia MacIntosh.
When life goes off track, sometimes the only thing you can do is go back to where it all began....
Emmy Palmer is the star of Bragadon Forest, the biggest fantasy series on TV, adored by the public, living the life of glamour and luxury in London.
But when scandal breaks, Emmy must escape the city and return to her seaside hometown to lie low and wait for the storm to pass. And as tragedy strikes for her family, it is good timing to go back to her roots.
Emmy's agent decides it would be a good look to star in the community Christmas pantomime, but who else could be playing her leading man but her ex-boyfriend whom she may or may not have ditched to move to London a decade ago....
As the show approaches, love and friendships blossom, and the real question is - Will they? Won't they?
The brand-new laugh-out-loud romantic comedy from top 10 best-selling author Portia MacIntosh, guaranteed to put a smile on your face this winter.

Just awesome
I discovered PMs books a few months ago and haven’t been able to stop listening- they are just perfect; and Will they, won’t they doesn’t disappoint. Love the characters, funny, relevant and perfect escapism. Thank you PM you’ve gotten me through a rough few months :)

"Will They, Won't They?" is not the right title
Because this story is not about a couple who might or might not get together. And it got me a little frustrated because I was expecting a love story and this is more about a B actress not knowing what to do with her life and who dislike everything and everyone. It also touches a sensitive topic in a very light way, with no trauma or drama to her, only that it cost her her job. The performance was excellent though, but the story not so much.

I love a good rom com!
I like the fact you're not actually sure who the real love interest is at first. Portia Macintosh writes such a good rom com - lots of humour, not too gushy and a real feel good ending. I've read three of her books so far and not been disappointed. Will definitely be reading some more!

*What will Emmy do*
This is an easy read with light touches of comedy. The star of the show Emma Watson (Not The Emma Watson from Harry Potter lol) is an actor and due to the fact you can’t have the same name as an existing actor her stage name is Emmy Palmer. She is in a fantasy show that is doing well and due to a tragic family event and a scandal that has broken painting her as the villain, she decides to to go back to the place where she was brought up.
Once there she realises how much she has missed seeing her family in the flesh. There is also the childhood crush who she hankers for, in her head he is the one for her and there is a catalogue of errors which involve her being a wingman for one of her aunt’s on a date and the man she is with reminds her of someone…. Who could it be?
The book also addresses her blended family because her parents split up years ago and they both have more children and Emmy virtually feels like a stranger to her half siblings and there is more drama when she meets the next door neighbour who irritates her yet she feels drawn to him.
And there is more drama when it comes to Emmy staring in a pantomime in the old rundown theatre
Emmy has to decide where her heart lies and what she wants her future to look like…..

Wasn’t the usual small town girl meets city boy after a breakup ,
Easy read, slightly predictable, but a nice, no stress , pre bedtime read. I like my head to be clear of stress before sleep, and this book did just that.
