For anyone else who was worried this wouldn’t live up to the incredibleness that was Icebreaker - don’t be! If anything, this book was better. And I don’t say that lightly!

For starters, there are literal golden retrievers, that pair so perfectly with Russ who is the cutest golden retriever boyfriend there ever was. I didn’t think I’d like him as much as Nate, as let’s face it, Nate’s charm and openness is just fantastic. But there’s something about Russ that makes your heart melt.

Although this is set a summer camp, we still get to see our favourite Maple Hills characters and fall deeper in love with them. I NEED Henry or JJ to get their book next.

Much like Icebreaker, you have main characters with daddy issues, blush worthy spice and a found family you can’t help but want to be adopted into.

One thing I LOVE about Hannah Grace is that her characters are such good communicators. Like yes, this is how adults should behave.

Eugh, this was over too fast and I need the next one stat!

I loved this book, it was a fast pace flourish of romance and passion at the beginning for Russ and Rory and then a slow burn romance throughout! I adored the summer camp theme throughout the whole book, and tbh I fell in love with the character xander who was the class clown throughout (would love a book about him 🥰) for anyone who likes small town, slow burn rom com vibes I highly recommend!!! And especially if you like golden retrievers 🐾💕

I read/listened to this and it’s an easy, fun and sweet story. Rom com/small town vibes with some pretty good spice. I normally go for darker, however wanted to try a lighter romance and this was perfect. Great as a standalone and the narrators were fab - duel narration rather than duet, but both are excellent at different voices which I knew from previous audios.
I loved the characters and the banter too

I loved the first book and this one didn’t disappoint, I loved the main characters in this book. It was a slower story than the first but well worthy the read!
