About this listen

“I can’t screw this up. I refuse to go back to prison.”

Benji Wilde grew up on the wrong side of the tracks, where violence was normal and robbery was a valid occupation. Recently released early from prison on account of his good behavior, there’s only one thing stopping Benji from turning his life around - he needs a job. And the only person willing to give him a chance? The same man Benji spent his high school years bullying relentlessly.

“Forgiveness is one thing. I just never expected I’d fall in love with him.”

Gavin Joy lives up to his name, spreading kindness and goodwill to everyone he meets. It’s that kindness that makes him want to take a chance on Benji, hiring him to work in Gavin’s bookshop and cafe. But when a spark ignites between them, will Gavin introduce this scared bad boy to the pleasures that can exist when a man loves another man?

They build them big in the town of Harlan, Colorado - where the winters are beautiful and the mountain men are gorgeous. Listen along as we join them in Harlan, where the pain of the past drips away as these sexy, rugged mountain men find their true loves and embrace a lifestyle of happily ever afters. This audiobook and every other audiobook in the For You Series can be listened to in any order.

I really enjoyed listening to this book as Benji tries to adjust to be released from prison and find a job he eventually gets one working for his old school mate and the guy he used to bully. Gavin holds no grudge against Benji for their past and once they start working together they realise that they have chemistry. Benji realises that he likes Gavin and realises and remembers stuff from his childhood. Later on Benji’s old boss comes causing him trouble and threatening his future and Gavin until he does what he’s told to do. With help the problem is solved.
