Sheridan Anne takes you on another wild and dangerous ride in this third book of her “Ashton Creek High” series. This book picks up where the second book, “Lost Girl”, ended, which was a mind-blowing cliff hanger. Skylah and Slade make it out, but not without serious injuries and the threat of Lucien returning hangs over their heads. The police are finally taking them more seriously, but that makes Lucien even more dangerous. Sky finally gets answers to why they came after her parents those years ago and the reason they took her and her brother. The answer was not one she was expecting to hear. There is never a dull moment in this fast-moving, action-packed story, the twists and turns keep coming, and Skylah feels responsible when Lucien goes after Blake and she regrets getting him involved. And like the other books, this one ends in a cliffhanger and leaves you needing to know what happens next. This book captivated my attention from start to end, the writing, plot and world building are fantastic, as are the character growth and development. The drama is non-stop and there is angst, thrilling and suspenseful moments, heartfelt emotions and steamy romance. Sheridan Anne, thank you for another wild ride. I am looking forward to what happens next and how it will all play out. 

🎧 📚🎧 Stefanie Kay continues to impress with her fantastic narration, making the characters and story come alive. I love how she takes each role and makes it her own, sounding believable in every role. Her character voices have been consistent throughout the series and the quality of the audio is top-notch. She continues to set the perfect tone for the story, captures all the characters’ emotions and has you feeling them all. Stefanie Kay is a versatile voice artist and her talent knows no bounds. She is an entertaining storyteller and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for another exceptional listen.

The title says it all! Sheridan Anne writes the most incredible characters, and her build up of Skylah is amazing. The story picks up right where we left off, and Skylah has been shot and almost drown. Slade is feeling a whole lot of things, from anger to guilt, but his feelings for Skylah never waiver. But does Lucien stop there? No, he is on a tour of destruction, and Blake is in his path next. When will it stop? Does he ever get what is due him? This book flies by with lots of spice and plenty of action. Ending on a cliffhanger, it leaves me to wanting to know the conclusion! I am waiting not so patiently to see just how it's all going to end.

Stefanie Kay continues her fabulous narration of this story. Perfect for the new adult genre, she molds each of the characters so they fit their personalities. She builds the love, the suspense and keeps me on the edge needing more. Looking forward to book 4!

I have to admit this shorter book was a slower read! After everything terrible in the first 2 books it was nice to see the characters enjoy life for a tiny bit even if they were severely injured and faced death! But of course it was short lived! Lucien the devil he is, was quick to swoop in! I really hope we don’t see sky assaulted again in book 4! I have a feeling book 3&4 could be combined into one book, but I am looking forward to the conclusion!!! These characters have earned their HEA!!!
The narrator was good as usual!! 🥰

As Skylar tries to heal from the events that transpired in the second book of this series the hits keep coming. Not only is she dealing with the difficulties that Blake is going through, but she faces the men from her past that started the domino effect of how she ended up with Lucien.

The one thing that remains consistent is how Slade is determined to be there for her but when the cliffhanger happens, she does the only thing she can to protect those she loves.

The chemistry between Skylar and Slade is as hot as ever, the twists keep going and the drama keeps escalating. The narrators were a perfect for the choice for the characters as they showed how protective and possessive that Slade was and how sassy and strong that Skylar was. 🎧 Pink Flamingo Productions

Lucien strikes again...

I mean we all saw it coming but not like that. I hate that man with everything I have. I want to see him suffer something fierce.

Slade and Sky can't catch a break, it's one thing after another. I'm glad to see her on the mend but that doesn't mean it's not still going to be a tough road ahead. Something has got to let up, they need some happy in their lives and they need the dark cloud of Lucien to disappear already.

I can't wait to see what comes next!
