Get ready for this wild ride! I did not know what to expect, but I loved it! Every minute, Ria Wilde packs this story with action and romance. Kingston is the King of the City and he has revenge on his mind. He is going to take down those that kidnapped his sister. He meets Eleanor in the office of one of his targets and now, everything has changed. This quiet, stunning woman is not for the mafia life. She is sweet and good. But Kingston cannot let her go. To be fair, Eleanor is just as obsessed with him as well. Knowing he is not good for her is not enough to keep him away. But can he keep his woman out of danger and complete his mission? Twists, turns, passion, excitement, tears, you name it, Wilde has included it! I was on the edge, and with each surprise I needed to know where she would take me next! I can't wait to listen to book 2!

The narrators of this book are so good, I can't even tell you how good! James Joseph nails the darkness inside Kingston with tone and nuance. I loved his take on this dangerous man and loved the way he gave him just enough light to make him lovable. Zara Hampton Brown is a favorite, and she comes through as Ella. Stronger than she thinks, the inflections prove her worth and her feelings with every emotions Ella has. This team is perfectly cast and it's an amazing listen.

I really enjoyed this book.

I was so actioned packed from start to finish! I listened to the audiobook it was just so good I was here for all the different British accents in the book! Zara was the perfect Eleanor and how soft she portrayed her. James Joseph saying love through the entire book SWOON!!
