This was a pretty cool plot. I could tell a bit where the story was going and it was fascinating. Unfortunately, the constant switching of time (years in the past and future) was extremely confusing. I aslo personally prefer a stronger heroine. The narrator did a very good job though and I felt like the voice fit and was very personal.

This was my first book in this series and I had no trouble jumping right in. Kiera has always thought she did not want her birthright, that is until she realizes others are willing to kill for it. This is a fun action packed super natural story and I love how it overlaps with the Vampire Mates Series. Nice job on the narration, super easy to listen to.

Greta characters and an interesting compelling story line which kept me wanting more.
